I was a weirdo kid. When I was 8 or 9 years old, I found a book in our school library titled Rituals, Spells, and Potions. It was a most unusual find in a small, conservative town in South Texas. I experimented with the spells, and was filled with a fascination for the esoteric and metaphysical. Over time I checked out every book at our town library on psychic and occult phenomena, UFOs, demons, ghosts, hauntings, myths and legends, etc. Most kids I knew wanted to grow up to be doctors or dancers, or firemen or nurses. I wanted to be a paranormal investigator. And an artist. And a witch. . .

At 26 I became a mother, and needs demanded a way to make extra income. I taught myself to sew and began making Dammit Dolls - handheld stress reliever poppets with which one could take out their frustrations upon. As I further researched handmade dolls and delved deeper into a whole world of artistry I had never experienced before, I became ever more inspired to grow my newfound skills.

I now create One of a Kind Art Dolls I sell on eBay, Etsy, and privately as well. I often rescue lovely clothes from thriftshops and garage sales and incorporate them into my work. Something old, something new. My critters include ethereal ghosts, dapper rabbits, spellbinding witches, horror characters, and everything else the voices tell me to create.

The dolls talk, ya know. You just have to listen . . .
